Building Truss Systems – Technical Basics and Safety Issues

Recently, our industry has been tainted by a number of accidents involving temporary truss structures. This seminar by the Prolyte Group explores the complexity of this matter, which goes beyond simply how things are made or built. Having designed, manufactured and sold hundreds of aluminum truss structures and roof systems, large and small, over the past two decades, this seminar provides the technical basics of building safe temporary structures and touches also on the subject of new standards, guidelines and Codes of Practice for temporary demountable structures (TDSs). Other factors, good procurement and use, having a good operational management plan available, as well as responsibility from the organizer are discussed as well.

Lee Brooks, Managing Director, Prolyte
