DJs Go Head to Head for the Ultimate Title

 

The search for the Middle East's hottest DJ has been fulfilled! After 3 extremely successfull rounds of Pre-Heats at Chi at The Lodge in Dubai 16 DJ's had to prepare for the Semi Finals on 27 and 28 April at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Out of the 16 contestants only 7 DJ's were selected to show their skills at the Final on 29 April. The judges had a very difficult time throughout the competition to sellect the best DJ in the Middle East. Unfortunately there can be only one winner and we are proud to announce that the winner of the PALME Middle East DJ Competition 2008 is Amin Golestan.  Amin won not just the title but also a Pacemaker as well as the Pioneer CDJ 1000. The second place was filled by Jordanian DJ Flash B (Ibrahim Saleh), third place by Sri Lankan DJ Delarn (Delarn de Silva) and in the fourth place DJ Kaabi from Qatar (Mohammed Kaabi) all the runners up also won prizes sponsored by Pioneer. Once again we would like to congratulate all the winners and thank all the loyal supporters as well as all the participants. Registration for the 2009 Competition will be opening on 1 June 2008. The 2009 Competition can only be bigger and better than this year if the entries we had this year are anything to judge by.
