The search for the hottest DJ in the Middle East is back once again in full force for 2010.
 With the interest increasing each year to win the prestigious title ‘PALME DJ of the Year 2009’, the organisers PALME are expecting more entries and a higher caliber of DJ’s this year for the competition, which is set to be as the Virgin Megastore at the Mall of the Emirates gets to host the 2 pre-heats that will be open to all!
With the amateurs improving through working on professional equipment and actually attending courses, the judges are going to find it very tough to award the prestigious title of “PALME Middle East DJ of the Year 2010”.
The pre-heats for the PALME DJ Competition are scheduled on 26th March and 2nd April and are likely to attract more than 250 entries to qualify 30 DJs for playing in the pre-heats, with 10 DJs selected by the panel of judges going through to the grand final. A treat for all DJs will be the latest Pioneer equipment to play on.
All the DJ’s who wish to enter the competition must send in a demo mix either as an mpeg file or on a CD. Entries can also be sent through a web link to a good quality audio file. 30 contestants will be selected to play at the pre-heats.

This year’s grand prize is bigger than everyone’s expectations! Yes, PALME DJ Competition becomes the only and the preferred event to take the winner on a trip to the Pioneer World Championship DJ Finals later this year!
Not only this, the contestants also get a chance to win CJD-900s from Pioneer, Pacemaker Pocket DJ from Desert Beats, DJ Flight cases from Out Rack Cases, Sennheiser Pro DJ wireless headphone and PALME DJ Competition T-Shirts.
